Storytelling

Stories Are Like Pearls

shiny - enchanting - and hard as bone!

Words are magic flowers,
that blossom in the ear of those who listen.

freely translated after Rafik Schami

When was the last time someone has told you a story? Was it your granny many years ago? Well, it's high time for a story then!

High time to prick up your ears and indulge your senses.
I am Meike Mabelle and together we'll be exploring fantastic realms. We'll be hunting exotic fragrances, exploring pompus palaces or the strong breeze of the sea. Wherever we might end up - there will be no room for your daily grind. That'll have to wait outside.

Come With Me!

We're going on a journey. Together ...

Stories do so much for us. They entertain us, comfort us, inspire us to think - maybe even in new directions. They encapsulate our sorrow like a shell encapsulates a grain of sand. Stories make happiness shine even brighter. Just listen.

Listening to me you will hear stories from fairy-tale books, from the theatre stage, from the realm of myths, from classic literature and novels - linked to real life. Sometimes ...

A Storytelling Event

is as unique as each audience

Let's give the story-pearls some extra shine. There are many ways to do that. And it's easy, too.
A storytelling event is rather low-maintenance. I, of course, need some space - not too much, but somewhere so that people can see me. And that's pretty much it.
I always take an amplifier with me that doesn't even need a power socket. Together we master (nearly) every venue.

Let me tell you a few stories ...

  • ... at your business event or your office party,
  • ... at your special wedding, your birthday or any other family event,
  • ... in your garden or living room with a few good friends around,
  • ... at any public event you want to organise be it in your café, your restaurant or any other cosy place you might have discovered.

The Stories

are as diverse as us beings on this wonderful earth

The world of stories has so much to offern. Stories can be sad, exciting, inspiring and/or funny. And there is so much to tell about: Love, power, wealth, the depths of human follies or just sheer luck.
But whatever issues the stories tackle they all have one thing in common: They come alive and entertain you when I am telling them.

So, how about you? Do you have a favourite tale that you haven't heard in a while? Or is there an issue that is especially close to your heart? With good stories, nearly everything is possible!

Let's have a chat.
